The slight crinkling of wrapping paper, a welcoming smile shared in exchange, and a tear of joy that may roll down one’s cheek, are just a few of the small moments that can warm our hearts when we give to another.

Since 1947, The United States Marine Corps Reserve has delivered hope across our country with the Toys for Tots foundation. An effort that distributes toys to children whose families are unable to afford gifts, to date, has shown us a celebration in 548 million toys distributed to 251 million children.

This holiday season, our Studio Eagle family set aside time to work together to assemble boxes and craft packaging for toys to be donated to our local Toys for Tots campaign. We spoke with a few of our team members to hear their thoughts on this inspiring event:

What does giving back mean to you?

To me, giving back means focusing on someone other than yourself. It provides a great opportunity to bring joy to others and promote positivity in the community.

Giving back is about bringing a smile to a child’s face and a sense of contentment to that family. It means teaching my children to grow up knowing the value of sharing and a sense of community.

What did you enjoy most about participating in the Toys for tots event?

I really enjoyed working together to help make the holiday season a happier one for so many children. Seeing the excitement on a child’s face when they open a gift you give them is priceless. It feels good to know that the gifts we gathered will create life-long memories that families will share forever.

I enjoyed the great teamwork and how it felt good to do something for someone else.

We would like to thank The United States Marine Corps Reserve for their mission, support and continued generosity. Our team is proud to do a small part to contribute in sharing so much joy, laughter, and happiness with our country’s less fortunate children.
